Privacy Policy

OOO Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) places prime importance on customers’ personal information and complies with the “Act on the Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection".
The Company’s Privacy Policy explains for what purpose and how the personal information provided is used and what measures are taken to protect personal information.

■ Personal Information Items Collected and Collection Method
A. Items of Personal Information Collected
O The Company collects the following personal information for membership signup, consultation, and service application:
-When signing up for membership: name, date of birth, gender, login ID, password, home phone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, information of legal representative for members under the age of 14
-When applying for service: address, payment information

O Service usage records, access logs, cookies, access IP, payment records, and bad use records may be created and collected during service use or business processing.

B. Method of Collection
-Collection through official website, written form, bulletin board, e-mail, event application, delivery request, telephone, fax, and generation information collection tool

■ Collection of Personal Information and Purpose of Use
The Company uses the collected personal information for the following purposes:
O Performance of contracts regarding service provision and settlement of fees according to service provision
Provision of contents, purchase and payment of charges, shipment of goods to billing address, identification of financial transactions, and financial services
O Member Management
Personal identification according to membership service use, personal identification, prevention of illegal use and unauthorized use by members, confirmation of intention to sign up, age check, check consent of a legal representative when collecting the personal information of children under 14 years of age, handling of complaints, etc., notifications
o Use for marketing and advertising purposes
Delivery of advertising information such as events, identification of access frequency, or statistics on members' service use

■ Period for the Retention and Use of Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys the personal information of users without delay once the purpose of its collection and use is achieved.  However, the Company will retain the following information for a specified period for the reasons below:

A. Reasons for information retention according to the Company's internal policy
 Even if a member withdraws, his/her information may be retained for oo years from the date of termination of the contract to prevent the recurrence of illegal use by members, resolve disputes, and cooperate in response to requests from investigative agencies.

B. Reasons for information retention in accordance with the relevant laws
If it is necessary to preserve the member information in accordance with the provisions of related laws, such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., the Company does so for a certain period stipulated by the relevant laws as follows:

■Destruction Procedure and Method of Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys the personal information without delay once the purpose of its collection and use is achieved. The destruction procedure and method are as follows:
O Destruction procedure
Once the purpose of its collection and use is fulfilled, the information you provided during the sign-up process or for other reasons is transferred to a separate database (or a filing cabinet for printed information). The transferred information is destroyed after being retained for the period specified by the Company’s policy and/or relevant laws and regulations (refer to the period of retention and use).
The information stored in the database shall never be used for purposes other than retention unless required by law.
O Destruction Method
The Company deletes the personal information stored in the form of an electric file by using a technological method that renders such information irrecoverable.

■ Provision of Personal Information
In principle, the Company does not provide your personal information to outside. The following cases are exceptions, however:
O When users have agreed in advance
O In case of a request from an investigative agency in accordance with the provisions of the law or in accordance with the procedure and method prescribed by the law for investigation purposes

■ Rights of users and legal representatives and how to exercise them
O Users can view or modify their registered personal information at any time and may request termination of membership.
O To view and modify your personal information, click "Change personal information" (or "modify member information", etc.); click "Withdrawal of Membership" to cancel your membership (withdrawal of consent) and go through the identity verification procedure to view, correct, or withdraw your membership directly.
O  Or, if you contact the person in charge of personal information protection in writing, by phone, or by e-mail, we will take action without delay.
O If you request the correction of errors in personal information, the personal information will not be used or provided until the correction is completed. In addition, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the result of the correction will be notified to the third party without delay so that the correction can be made.
O The Company handles the personal information canceled or deleted at the request of the user as specified in the "Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information Collected by the Company" and processes it so that it cannot be viewed or used for any other purpose.

The Company uses “cookies” to save and retrieve your information frequently whenever necessary. A cookie is a small text file that is transmitted to your web browser from the server operating the Company’s website and stored on your computer’s hard disk.
The Company uses cookies for the following purposes:

To analyze the differences in access frequency and visiting hours between members and non-members, to understand the preferences and interests of users and follow their digital traces, to check users’ participation and visit time lengths in various events hosted by the Company in order to provide targeted marketing and customized services
2. You have the right to select how to install cookies.  Therefore, in the cookie options of your web browser, you can choose to allow all cookies, prompt you to confirm each time a cookie is to be saved, or block all cookies.
O Refusal of Cookies
1. As for the refusal of cookies, by selecting the web browser’s cookie option, you can configure the settings to allow all cookies, receive a prompt to confirm each time a cookie is to be saved, or block all cookies.
2. Example of setting the cookie option in Internet Explorer: Select Tools on top of the web browser > Internet Options > Privacy
3. Note that if you choose to block all cookies, you may be unable to access the Service.
